Rotenturmstraße (Rotenturm Street) connects Stephansplatz (St. Stephan’s Square) with Schwedenplatz (Sweden Square). This Square is the location of one of Vienna’s main traffic junctions. Rotenturmstraße is characterized by many small restaurants and ice cream parlours, as well as a few shops such as Marco Polo and Snipes. Due to the high amount of foot traffic, Vienna’s Rotenturmstraße has gained notoriety as an important retail magnet in recent years.
