Golden Quarter
Some highly prestigious areas in Vienna’s first district can be found in the so-called “Golden Quarter”, which begins at the Graben, and ends at Am Hof and nearby Tuchlauben. The Golden Quarter houses several properties which have been united into a new luxury hotspot in Vienna. New pedestrian areas have been created and brands such as Louis Vuitton, Prada, Valentino, Etro and Kiton maintain their flagship stores here. In addition, Park Hyatt has opened a luxury hotel in the former Z/Länderbank headquarters, which contains the former cashier’s hall which has been restored in its original design after having been completely destroyed by fire. The former cashier’s hall is now home to the Park Hotel’s luxurious restaurant.
